Illuminated {Photo} and Candle Jar DIY

I love to incorporate old photos around the house. There's just nothing quite so lovely as a black and white pic of grandparents or family.
I've seen a few ideas on Pinterest on ways to display your old photos, so I adapted one to work with my apothecary jar.
Wedding by Color  has a cute photo centerpiece using 3 frames.

I used this jar for my Spring vignette, where it was filled with speckled eggs and you can find that post here.
Photocopy the pictures onto photo paper,
or if you want them to be even more sheer,
print on vellum or regular copy paper.
Cut out and arrange and tape all around the inside of the jar.
So as NOT to be a fire hazard, I inserted a battery operated candle...
These are great little inventions, and since I'm an Amazon associate, I've included a link at the bottom of this post, if you'd like to take a look.
I like to rotate the jar too, so "everyone" gets a turn to be in the front!
I stacked some old beige books, with a red decorative pear.
Nudged a little nest in beside the lamp.
I adore the tapestry design and colors in this Belgium topper.
These are fun finds at the antique fairs, even with all their spots...
I think this vignette will take me into the beginning of Fall....
and I can't wait to show you some of those projects!
I did attempt to show you how pretty the jar looks at night
...just a soft flicker,
but my photography skills stink are lacking, but I'm working on it!
