{Succulent} Inspiration Ideas

Have you heard? Succulents are all the rage!
Why, you may ask...
I think it's because they don't require much attention.
In other words, it's difficult to kill them!
(that's good news for those of us who don't have a green thumb)

Another possible reason is because succulents come in a variety of colors, textures and they are just plain gorgeous.

You will find quite a few inspiring ideas
floating around out there using succulents
You can use just about anything as a planter for succulents.
In the photo above, a repurposed a floor lamp is used as a planter.

I adore the cascading succulents!
The height of the lamp adds some drama and
would look lovely anywhere!
Here are 3 different ways to make a vertical succulent garden.
Any of these would look great on a patio wall!
You can even make succulent balls and hang them from a tree
in your yard or garden. Wow, what a statement!
I went to my local home improvement store's garden center,
and found a slew of succulents there.

Talk about variety, colors, textures, etc.!
After searching around the house for interesting planters...
here is what I came up with.
The mini silver pitcher made a cute home for a few succulents.
There were even enough to plant in a pottery bowl for the patio.
I'm hoping to propagate the ones I have
(assuming they will be alive in 6 months)
so, who knows where they'll pop up next!
